U.S. Again At War in Iraq

Although the U.S. media don’t let on– and the American people don’t know– how active the U.S. military continues to be in Iraq, simply watching the news with skeptical eye shows that U.S. warplanes are bombing, bombing, bombing, killing, killing, killing, all with no real end in mind, and certainly no guarantee of success.
This is from the Pakistani Times:

While American air strikes have had some impact on the insurgents, it’s not clear whether they will be enough to secure a defeat in the long term in major oil producer Iraq, and Syria.

The United States and its allies conducted 22 air strikes against Islamic State forces in Iraq on Friday and Saturday, the US Central Command said. US warplanes also destroyed an Islamic State artillery piece near Kobani, Syria, officials said Saturday.

via Iraqi security forces, Kurds, gain ground against Islamic State.

Twenty-two strikes on just Friday. How many strikes on Thursday, Wednesday, Tuesday? How many strikes today?
If these strikes had happened just once, on one day, they would have made news around the world. Alas, this is simply, “the way we play,” day after day.
The military mindset is running unchecked!
